Many say 2016 was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year…featuring:

  • A global health emergency, thanks to mosquito-borne Zika and infant microcephaly.
  • A plague of terrorism in Paris and Nice, Berlin and Brussels, Istanbul and Orlando. And Istanbul again.
  • A presidential election that highlighted our ugliest impulses, the darkest corners of our human hearts (and forced many of us to pass through the five stages of grief).
  • A wave of violence against police that repeatedly dominated the news cycle.
  • A six-year, Syrian civil war that went from bad to worse.
  • An incoming administration that may threaten to undermine international cooperation on climate change.

And so much more.

But for Bultema Group, for our little corner of the world, things weren’t all that bad.

Mostly thanks to our team. 

The last year required a few changes to our line-up, but Bultema Group is seven strong to start off 2017. These seven are quality. They are honest, hardworking, and humble, and they share a strong and genuine connection – with each other and our clients. It stems from respect. Both personal and professional. It also stems from selflessness. The success of our clients and our team has always taken precedence over the success of any one individual. And that’s unique.

Below is a brief introduction to our newest team members:

  • Matt Collver. Matt is the Director of Operations at Bultema Group. He is responsible for directing client projects and managing client relations. Matt holds his bachelor’s degree in history from Florida Gulf Coast University, where he worked in numerous management and supervisor roles for nearly 10 years. He is a proven innovator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Karen Pimpo. Karen is a Project Manager at Bultema Group. She is responsible for envisioning, developing, and facilitating marketing strategies to make things better. Karen has a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and an excellent writer.
  • Max Myers. Max is an in-house Developer at Bultema Group. He is responsible for programming the back end of our email marketing and website design projects. Max holds his bachelor’s degree in website design and development from Full Sail University. He is passionate about clean, reusable code, e-commerce, and a collaborative workflow between team members and clients. He is also incredibly helpful to have around when technology bewilders us. As it often does.
  • Nate DeHaan. Nate is a Creative Lead at Bultema Group. He is responsible for creating effective visual concepts that represent our clients and their stories. Nate holds his bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Kendall College of Art and Design. He has exceptional website design experience that can be seen in many of Bultema Group’s latest projects.
  • Kendra Kamp. Kendra is a Creative at Bultema Group. She is responsible for designing stunning visuals for both print and digital media and has great experience with design layout. Kendra holds her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Calvin College, with a minor in philosophy. She approaches design like she would a puzzle, identifying ways to shape and mold elements to reveal a final product.
  • Emily Franklund. Emily is a Creative at Bultema Group. She is a skilled illustrator responsible for creating visuals that are used in advertisements, magazines, flyers, packaging, t-shirt designs, and more. Emily holds her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Kendall College of Art and Design.

No man (or woman or business or organization) becomes great on their own…The people around them help to make them great. We all need people in our lives who raise our standards, remind us of our essential purpose, and challenge us to become the-best-version-of-ourselves.”    

And we need people who help make things better in our communities, our nation, and our world.

Now more than ever before.
